包芯紗線(CSY)由以下兩部分組成：(1)芯絲，通常是高強(qiáng)低伸長的滌綸長絲或高彈性合成長絲；(2)纖維護(hù)套，如棉、聚酯、粘膠和阻燃織物。

如今，CSY制造的服裝越來越受歡迎。其原因在于，當(dāng)芯絲和纖維護(hù)套結(jié)合時，不僅可以相互補(bǔ)充，而且可以在各自的優(yōu)勢之間產(chǎn)生協(xié)同作用。如棉滌綸CSY，一方面具有滌綸長絲的特點：強(qiáng)度高、無折痕、易洗、快干；另一方面，受益于棉纖維的優(yōu)點：高吸濕性，少靜電，不起球。這種CSY可用于生產(chǎn)校服、工作服、襯衫、浴袍、床上用品等。此外，CSY線還具有良好的耐磨性和耐熱性，這使得CSY適用于高速縫合。

浩緯目前生產(chǎn)的CSY材料有：縫紉用的CSY，服裝用的CSY等。

Core Spun Yarn (CSY) consists of (I) core filament, usually polyester filament characterised by high tenacity and low elongation, or high-elasticity synthetic filament, and (II) fibre sheath, such as cotton, polyester, viscose and flame retardant fabric.

Nowadays, CSY-made apparel is becoming increasingly popular. The reason lies in the fact that, when combined, the core filament and the fibre sheath not only become mutual complements, but also create synergies between their own advantages. For example, Cotton-Polyester CSY on one hand owns features of polyester filament: super strength, no crease, easy wash and quick dry; and, on the other hand, benefits from the advantages of cotton fibre: high moisture absorption, less static electricity and no pilling. This type of CSY can be used for the productions of school uniforms, working suits, shirts, bathrobes, beddings etc. Furthermore, CSY threads also have good performance in terms of wear and heat resistance, which make CSY suitable for high speed stitching.
